NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING REQUEST FOR CONTINUATION

City initiated amendments to the Culver City Zoning Code adopting standards and single family residential development regulations for new construction in the Culver Crest Neighborhood.


The Planning Commission would like to inform you of the request for continuation of a Public Hearing concerning the following:

WHO:             The City of Culver City

WHAT:

The proposed City-initiated amendments affect portions of Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC), Title 17: Zoning Code; Section 17.260 – Overlay Districts.

WHERE:

WHEN:

ITEM IS REQUESTED TO BE HEARD ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2018, AT 7:00 PM

WHY:

The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and to receive public input on the proposed Zoning Code Amendment and consider recommending to the City Council adoption of an Ordinance approving the proposed Amendment.  All members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in the public hearing.

CEQA:

The proposed Zoning Code Amendment (P2018-0223-ZCA) is within the scope of the Culver City General Plan Update Program EIR approved on September 24, 1996 (PEIR 1), the Culver City Redevelopment Plan Amendment and Merger Program Subsequent EIR approved on November 16, 1998 (PEIR 2), and no new significant information has been found that would impact either PEIR 1 or PEIR 2.  Therefore, no new environmental analysis is required, pursuant to Sections 15162 and 15168 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).


The Planning Commission agenda item reports are available for viewing online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time for regular meetings and no later than 24 hours prior to a special meeting or at the Planning Division counter located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.  Persons unable to attend the meeting but wish to submit comments may do so to the attention of William Kavadas, Assistant Planner by any of the following means BEFORE 4:00 PM on December 12, 2018:
