City initiated amendment to the Culver City Zoning Code as it relates to the standards and requirements for electric vehicle parking, compact parking, and reduced parking

 

 


The Planning Commission is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning:

WHO:             The City of Culver City

WHAT:

The proposed City initiated amendment affects portions of the Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC), Title 17 – Zoning Code, Chapter 17.320 – Off-street parking and loading

Case No.:                 Zoning Code Amendment, P2018-0186-ZCA

Project Location     Citywide

WHEN:

Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 7:00 PM

WHY:

The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the Planning Commission to review and to receive public input on the proposed Zoning Code Amendment and consider recommending to the City Council adoption of an Ordinance approving the proposed Zoning Code Amendment.  All members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in the public hearing.

CEQA:

Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), the Project is exempt because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the Project to amend the Zoning Code will have a significant effect on the environment.  The Project by itself, does not result in any physical changes in the environment because it will only amend the Code to require certain types of parking as part of future development, and does not result in an intensification of development beyond what the Zoning Code allows.


The Planning Commission agenda item reports are available for viewing online no later than 72 hours prior to the meeting date and time for regular meetings and no later than 24 hours prior to a special meeting or at the Planning Counter.  Persons unable to attend the meeting but wish to submit comments may do so to the attention of Gabriela Silva, Associate Planner by any of the following means BEFORE 4:00 PM on November 14, 2018:
