Culver City Screenland 5K Race Route and Related Street Closures

The Screenland 5K will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. to celebrate the Culver City Centennial.
Street Closures:
Please note the following Street Closures proposed for this Sunday - Feb. 26th - from 6:00 to 11:30 a.m.:
Full closures:
Culver Blvd: Overland Ave. to Ince Blvd.
Washington Blvd: Ince Blvd. to National Blvd.
Ince Blvd.: Culver Blvd. to Lucerne Ave.
Soft closures (access for local traffic, only):
Generally, one block out from the 5K route will be soft-closed, and only local traffic will be have access to the areas that are soft-closed.
The Culver City Police Department will open some segments of the Screenland 5K route earlier than 11:30 a.m., after trailing participants have past certain points, or have been relocated to the sidewalk. Some closures in Downtown may last slightly longer while a stage is disassembled and equipment is picked-up.
Culver City Bus Route
Culver City Bus Line 1 on Washington Blvd. will detour to Venice Blvd. via Motor Ave. and National Blvd.
No Parking Zones
Areas along the Screenland 5K route will have temporary signs posted to prevent parking prior to the start of the closure of the route. During the period of NO PARKING, vehicles not adhering to the restriction will be towed away for the safety of all participants. Please adhere to the posted parking prohibition.
Courtesy Temporary Parking Permits for Residents
If your vehicle’s typical parking space is in your residential driveway, and it will be blocked by the race route, courtesy temporary permits will be available for such land-locked vehicles to park on adjacent residential streets, Feb. 25-26, when the adjacent streets have parking restrictions in effect on Saturday and/or Sunday.
