In collaboration with the Axel Garcia Family, we invite you to join us on Saturday, December 13, from 8am to 2pm at the Claremont Police Department.
How to Help:
- Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate on the day of the event.
- Can’t make it that day? Drop off your toy donations anytime during the week leading up to the drive!
All collected toys will be distributed to deserving children in Claremont and the surrounding community. Let’s come together to make the season brighter for local families!
Pooch Park Temporary Closure
The Pooch Park is temporarily closed through Monday, December 1 for biannual turf maintenance and rest. This regularly scheduled maintenance helps keep the park’s turf healthy and vibrant throughout the year.
During this period, the City’s landscape contractor will aerate the turf, flush and refresh the soil, remove invasive weeds, and allow the turf to rest and recover. These routine activities support the long-term health and appearance of the park.
While Pooch Park is closed, residents are encouraged to visit other pet-friendly locations in Claremont, including the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, Thompson Creek Trail, and Rancho San Jose Park. Residents may also visit dog parks in nearby cities, such as San Dimas, Upland, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga.
