Track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad will affect Capitol Corridor service October 5, as outlined below.

Saturday, October 5

  • Train 723, which normally operates between Sacramento and San Jose, will terminate at Fremont, with no alternate transportation provided.
    • Passengers will have the option to use Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) or AC Transit between Fremont and San Jose.
  • Train 724, which normally operates between San Jose and Sacramento, will originate at Fremont with no alternate transportation provided.
