 Join us at the Berkeley Waterfront on Friday, October 18th, for office hours with our Waterfront Manager, Ali Endress. We’ll “sit & chat” for a bit, then move to a “walk & talk” through the Northern Waterfront area.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, and coffee if you’d like. Coffee, tea, and Cocoa are available for purchase inside the DoubleTree Lobby. Free parking is available along Marina Blvd and Spinnaker Way.

Walk & Talk
From 11:30-12:30, we will go from the DoubleTree Hotel’s patio and walk along the interior perimeter pathway, around Cesar Chavez Park, and then finish back at the DoubleTree lobby.

 The City of Berkeley’s Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront Department is holding a community park tour to discuss Tom Bates Regional Sports Complex upcoming Capital Projects. Discussion will include the upcoming fieldhouse, pickleball courts and soccer field construction, near future South Parking Lot improvements and current Gilman Street/I-80 Improvements.
We will meet at the North Parking Lot on Gilman Street by the Entrance Ramp to the North Fields.

Discussion will include Improvements at Aquatic Park - Bolivar Drive, Berkeley Paddling and Rowing Club Parking Lot, East Pathway Reconstruction, Aquatic Park Tide Tubes, LTCAP Grant, and Ashby/I-80 Improvements.
We will meet at the pedestrian plaza in front of the Berkeley Animal Shelter Parking Lot, at the Pedestrian Bridge Landing.
