New Community Services Specialist and Program Coordinator - Joseph Griffin
We are happy to introduce Joseph Griffin, the City of Berkeley's new Community Services Specialist and Program Coordinator for the Adopt-a-Spot Traffic Circle and Storm Drain program. Joseph has served the City of Berkeley in various roles over the past 4 years within Recreation and Zero Waste. He brings experience in both volunteer and project management from the City of San Francisco's Recreation and Parks Department Volunteer Division, as Program Coordinator for the Alemany Farm Community Garden.
Joseph is a native Californian, born and raised in East Palo Alto. He enjoys bringing people together through environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and community beautification projects. He is excited to serve the community through Berkeley's Adopt-a-Spot program and work with passionate volunteers that care about making their neighborhoods beautiful by increasing the biodiversity and health of Berkeley's local ecosystem.

The city of Berkeley's Public Works Department is excited to announce a virtual community presentation to discuss the current state and future goals of the Adopt-A-Spot program!
