VOLUNTEERS WANTED for Berkeley Fire Department Drill
This August, Berkeley Fire Department will be conducting drills to practice an active shooter emergency response scenario and is looking for community volunteers to act as victims in six upcoming drills. Victim rescue and medical triage is a focus of this drill so volunteers must be ok with being physically carried by firefighters in the simulation. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing (preferably that you’re ok with getting stained or dirty).

Hs Lord Ships Restaurant, 199 Seawall Dr, Berkeley, CA 94710
Parking available on site. Please carpool if possible.

August 15th, 1/ 08:30- 12:00 (Postponed)
August 15th, 2/ 13:00- 16:30 (Postponed)
August 17th, 1/ 08:30- 12:00 (10 volunteers needed)*
August 17th, 2/ 13:00- 16:30 (5 volunteers needed)
August 19th 08:30- 12:00 (10 volunteers needed)*
August 19th 13:00- 16:30 (5 volunteers needed)
*Morning sessions need more volunteers.
Reminders:
Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
Volunteers will be physically carried acting as victims during the drill.
