Bring friends, join neighbors and come out to watch any or all of the eight movies under the stars in Berkeley’s parks.
Our series of free summer movie nights in Berkeley parks kicks off with Sing 2 on June 17 at Live Oak Park.
This 8-movie series visits different parks around the city and reaches neighborhoods from north to south, the flatlands to the hills.
Each movie will be shown on a large portable 20'x12' inflatable movie screen with premium audio-visual movie equipment for outdoor cinemas.
Bring friends, join neighbors, and revel in some of the gems of Berkeley: our parks.

Come early, bring low-height beach chairs
Limited street parking is available. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the movie begins.
Bring blankets, sleeping bags, and low-back beach chairs with a maximum height of 9 inches off the ground, so the view of other patrons is not blocked. A flashlight or headlamp makes walking out at the end of the night easier. These events are alcohol-free.
To request an accommodation, please contact Ginsi Bryant at gbryant@cityofberkeley.info or call or text (510) 926-2585 at least 2 days before the movie date.
Movies in the Park are just one of an array of events throughout the year organized by the City's Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department, which offers dozens of camps, classes, and other activities for people of all ages.
