And, you still have a chance to share your own thoughts on how tech influences the community. (The deadline for speaker submissions is extended to this Friday, Jan.10).

STEM skills prove their value at Magoosh & SkyDeck

Magoosh STEM activity

Demonstrating their commitment to inclusive innovation as part of Berkeley Ventures, Berkeley Values (BV2), Berkeley-based online test-prep company, Magoosh, and world-renowned startup accelerator, Berkeley SkyDeck, hosted tours for Berkeley High School students last month. At Magoosh, students worked alongside staff to land their robots in a "volcanic crater" -- using only spare office supplies and their own ingenuity. At SkyDeck, students heard how Squishy Robotics is dropping their robots into similarly hot, dangerous environments to save lives, as well as other ways local founders are putting their STEM skills to use in the real world.

Contact us if your company would like to host a tour for local students or would like to join BV2 and meaningfully contribute to our community .
