Join Flavors of the Peninsula, which celebrates our region's diverse food scene with week-long events along both the Coastside and Bayside, running now until early May. Enjoy curated prix-fixe menus that showcase our region's flavors, from farm-to-table seafood restaurants along the coast to innovative fusion kitchens along the Peninsula, featuring our very own Amara restaurant. There is something for everyone's taste!
YAC Hygiene Drive
The Belmont Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is hosting a hygiene product drive now through May 11. Join Our 100 Celebrations
Belmont is turning 100, and we are celebrating 100 times as a community throughout our Centennial year! Host a dinner with neighbors, plan a walk, throw a coffee or happy hour, whatever brings you together to connect, share stories, and celebrate our history counts as one of the 100.
Let us help you make it official. Pick up a Centennial party bag (cups, napkins, stickers, small swag offerings) while supplies last and add a little extra sparkle to your gathering.
To participate, simply email us at to tell us about your celebration. We will keep a running tally and announce when we reach 100 community celebrations! If you are up for it, please email us your photos as well!

Centennial Community Led Activities
We are developing a small grants program to support centennial community-led activities, such as a Home Tour, Garden Tour, cookbook project, block parties, and history walks. We’d love to work with the community to explore ways to collaborate on or lead these special activities. Applications are open for our Community Led Activity Proposals.

What to Do When You Encounter Wildlife in Need
If you find a wild animal that appears to be orphaned, injured, or in distress, please call Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) at (650) 340-7022 for guidance. If it’s safe to do so, you can bring the animal directly to the PHS/SPCA Burlingame shelter at 1450 Rollins Road any day between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. If you find a wild animal in need of care after hours and it’s safe to transport, please bring the animal to the PHS/SPCA After Hours Receiving located at 12 Airport Blvd. in San Mateo. Do not give any food, water, or medicine to the animal, as it often does more harm than good. Do not attempt to remove a fishing line or something that may be caught or tangled around the animal. Thank you for looking out for local wildlife!
