Teen Wellness Retreat
We’re excited to co-host the third annual Teen Wellness Retreat with the City of San Carlos on Saturday, March 28th from 9am - 2pm at San Carlos Adult Community Center. This FREE, one-day retreat is open to teens in grades 6 – 12 and is all about unplugging, recharging, and prioritizing mental health.

Adaptive and Traditional Egg Hunts
Our Adaptive EGGventure Hunt returns on Friday, April 3rd at 4:30pm in the Twin Pines Park Meadow. Belmont’s Youth Advisory Committee is hosting their 2nd Annual Youth Spelling Bee. This fun spelling contest will take place Saturday, April 25th from 11am – 1pm at Barrett Community Center. Updates and Reminders
ALS Caregivers Donation Drive
The City of Belmont VOICES team and Carlmont High School ALS Club have teamed up with the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Network to host a donation drive supporting caregivers of ALS patients. Donations will be accepted at the Belmont Parks and Recreation Office and Belmont Library, or supporters can contribute by purchasing items directly through our Amazon Wishlist.
We’re collecting unused items that bring rest, comfort, and wellness, including fuzzy socks, warm compresses, coloring books, and more. The deadline to donate is Monday, March 16th. Get more information here.

Summer Volunteering
Swimmer Aide - Give your teen a chance to learn and lead this summer! The Swimmer Aide Program is for ages 13 – 17 and offers hands-on experience teaching swim lessons, improving stroke technique, and learning lifesaving skills. Participants earn community service hours and gain a pathway to becoming a City Lifeguard or Swim Instructor. Applications close Sunday, March 22nd. Get more information and apply here.
