 Holiday Tree Collection
Curbside holiday tree collection is available until January 31. Once you’ve removed all the tinsel, lights, decorations, and stands from your tree, you can leave them next to your green compost bin, and Recology will pick them up on your regular collection day until January 31.
For trees taller than 8 feet, please cut them into sections no longer than 8 feet before placing them next to or inside your green compost bin. After January 31, trees must be cut up and placed entirely inside the green compost bin for collection.
Apartment and condominium managers can contact Recology to arrange for tree collection at no additional charge. Trees can be collected in piles or a drop box. For more details, call Recology at (650) 595-3900.
