 Stanford University Contributes $500,000 to Belmont Community Projects
Stanford University has generously donated $500,000 to support the revitalization of our 75-year-old Barrett Community Center and enhance transportation infrastructure enhancing community connectivity and quality of life for Belmont residents. This contribution, recognized at our Tuesday night City Council meeting, comes as a gesture of appreciation for the strong partnership developed with the City during its past efforts to entitle and purchase the former NDNU campus property. 2025 Pavement Rehabilitation Project
Paving work will commence this week on Comstock Circle and Lower Lock Avenue. Traffic control will be in place, including temporary road closures to through traffic. Please use caution when driving through work zones and obey all posted signage. See the project schedule here.

Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Goes to Council and Community
The City's Climate Action and Adaptation Plan update is underway and will establish local strategies and actions for increasing resilience to climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions to align with State targets.
