It was a beautiful summer day in Belmont for Lemonade Day this last weekend! Our young entrepreneurs brought incredible energy, creativity, and hustle to their lemonade stands, and the community truly showed up to support them. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a cup and helped make the day so sweet!

Movies in the Parks
We are just under one month away from our first Movies in the Park! Bring your own blankets and chairs and pick up some take-out food from nearby restaurants! All movies will begin at sundown. Free and open to all ages. Save the dates for the showing of Inside Out on August 15 at Twin Pines Park Meadow, the showing of Mulan on September 12 at Alexander Park, and the showing of Shrek on October 3 at Barrett Park.

Senior Scam Stopper Seminar
Join Assemblymember Diane Papan at the Senior Scam Stopper Seminar on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the San Mateo Senior Center (2645 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo) to learn about common scams targeting senior citizens and how to stay vigilant. Expert panelists will include representatives from the Contractors State Licensing Board, the Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program of San Mateo County, and more.
