Happy Parks Make Life Better Month
This special recognition was established to highlight the power of parks and recreation in every community. Here in Belmont, it’s an opportunity to acknowledge all the amazing full-time and part-time employees who help enhance the quality of life for the community. We are so happy to be able to provide so many great classes, special events, and beautiful parks and open spaces for everyone to enjoy. It would not be possible without our amazing Parks and Recreation Team!
This month we invite you to take a walk through one of our open spaces, sign up for a new class, play tennis at one of our courts, or just admire the beauty and peacefulness of our parks; there's no wrong way to enjoy all Belmont Parks and Recreation has to offer!
Fall Buddy Meetup Program
We’re excited to partner with Opening Doors PTA to offer the Buddy Meetup Program this fall, a free social development program designed for neurodiverse K - 12 youth. Through four in-person meetups, participants will build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and foster meaningful peer connections in a supportive setting. Each participant will be thoughtfully paired with a teen volunteer mentor based on shared interests, communication styles, and support needs.
To be considered for the program, please complete this interest form by September 7th.
