Youth Summer Scholarships

Belmont families: There's still time to apply for summer camp scholarships! Whether your child is already enrolled or you're considering signing up, funds are available to help cover costs. Eligible applicants can receive up to $200 per week, for up to four weeks. Scholarships available for summer 2025 Belmont Parks and Recreation Camps only. Does not include Aquatics, BCLC, Footsteps, and Stepping Stone.

Community Hikes

Join us for our summer community hikes in our beautiful open spaces! Hikes will be led by recreation staff who will provide brochures on Belmont trails and wildflowers. Free to register and open to anyone ages 12 and up. The next hike will take place Tuesday, June 24th, 3 - 4pm at Hidden Canyon Park. Registration information and future dates can be found here.

Park Boosters Summer Concert Series

The Belmont Park Boosters Summer Concert Series returns this summer with 5 weeks of fun in the Twin Pines Meadow. The concerts run every Sunday from June 15th to July 13th from 1 - 4pm. Concerts are free and open to all. Interested in volunteering? Help the Belmont Park Boosters with set up, clean up, and serving concessions. Get more information here.

Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day is coming soon! This experience allows kids ages 5 – 16 to explore entrepreneurship by launching their own lemonade stands. Sign up now to register your young entrepreneur! If selling lemonade isn’t your thing, you can still support these young entrepreneurs on Saturday, July 12, from 10am to 12:30pm by visiting stands throughout the city!

Summer Mobile Recreation

Mobile Recreation is a free program that brings fun activities and play directly to you! Designed for all ages, it offers a variety of games and crafts at Belmont parks and community spaces. Join us this summer for mobile recreation fun at Alexander Park on July 15th from 11am - 1pm and at O'Donnell Park on July 31st from 1pm - 3pm. Get more information here.

Belmont Community Foundation Imagine Together Festival

The Imagine Together Festival is an event for all ages to play, shop, and explore the future of Belmont’s Community Center! Join the fun and see the vision for the future Community Center on Saturday, August 9th from 10am - 2pm, at the current Barrett Community Center on Ralston Ave. Enjoy a festive day of fun, see the current state of the 75-year-old community center and explore the vision of what the Community Center can offer.
