Belmont Police Department is Investigating a Shooting
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jan. 29, 2025
On Tuesday, January 28, at about 10:15 p.m., Belmont Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Ralston Avenue on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located an adult female who had been shot once in her leg. The woman was transported to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening gun shot wound.
The case has been turned over to Belmont Police Department (BPD) Investigators who are tracking down several investigative leads. At this time, we believe that this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
