The City of Belmont is excited to announce the upcoming 18th Annual Beautiful Belmont Awards program, inviting community nominations for both Residential and Commercial categories. Applications are due by Nov. 18 at 5:00 p.m., with awards to be presented during the City Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 6:00 p.m.
“This long-standing program provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate our community pride,” said City Manager Afshin Oskoui. “Over the past year, we have come together to support one another, and this is a way to honor our neighbors and businesses who contribute to making Belmont a desirable place to live, work, and play!”
This recognition program aims to acknowledge individuals, businesses, and community groups that have enhanced the City by making significant exterior improvements to their Belmont properties. Eligible improvements include:
- Buildings and façades
- Landscaping
- Exterior lighting
- Vehicular and pedestrian access
- Exterior signage
Both new development and complete redevelopment projects are considered, as well as enhancements to existing properties.
