Trunk or Treat
Join us for a ghoulishly fun time at our annual Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, October 30th, from 5:30pm - 7:00pm in the parking lot in front of the Parks and Recreation office in Twin Pines Park. Stop by to see amazing, decorated cars and get lots of delicious candy. Costumes are encouraged! Event is free and open to all ages. No registration required (unless you are decorating your car).

Communal Candle Decorating
Join the Belmont Public Library on Tuesday, September 10th at 4:00pm in the Taube Room to decorate candles in support of suicide prevention and remembrance of lost loved ones. Youth-centered local organizations will be tabling at the event with information and giveaways, and snacks will be provided. This event is free and suitable for ages 12+. Get more information here.

AARP Driver Safety Class
Registration is open for the AAPR the Driver Safety course taking place Monday, September 9th and Wednesday, September 11th, from 9:30am - 2:00pm. This course teaches proven driving techniques to help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. Participants must attend both days. Suicide Prevention Awareness Seminar
Join the Belmont Library at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center on Tuesday, September 17th at 10:00am to get essential information and resources to address mental health challenges and reduce the risk of suicide. Participants will learn how to identify the risk factors are and warning signs of suicide, utilize effective coping strategies, build resilience, and locate local community resources. No pre-registration required.

Waterdog Run 2024
The annual Water Dog Run returns on Saturday, October 12th. The 5k, 10k, 1-mile kids, and 1-mile fido runs have something for everyone. Get a group of four or more together and receive a 10% discount at registration. Sign up to volunteer here. Diwali Celebration
We are excited to partner with the Belmont Library to co-host our second annual Diwali Celebration on Sunday, October 27th, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center. Join our new volleyball Program at the Barrett Community Center! Open to youth ages 9 - 14, this FREE beginner-oriented program is packed with fun, friends, and fitness. Led by passionate teen coaches from the Belmont community, you'll learn the basics, build new skills, and have a blast on the court. No prior volleyball experience or equipment is needed. Belmont Electric Service Launch Party
Join us on Sunday, September 22nd, from12:00pm - 2:00pm at the Belmont Train Station for a special celebration marking the launch of the fully electric Caltrain service. Enjoy complimentary Mister Softee ice cream, Row House pop-up classes, Mobile Recreation Games, community booths, and check out a San Mateo Consolidated Fire firetruck and our public works equipment!
Belmont Community Learning Center - Now Enrolling
Our preschool located at Barrett Community Center offers an engaging daily curriculum for children 2 to 5 years old. Our experienced staff strives to assist children in reaching their developmental goals along with providing a safe and nurturing environment. Music is Coming to Twin Pines Park!
Last spring, we brought poetry outdoors and now, it's music's turn! Come tickle the ivories in Twin Pines Park. Later this month, we will be installing a piano in the park for a few weeks for the community to enjoy while the park is open, from sunrise to sunset.
