Parks Make Life Better
July is Parks Make Life Better Month! This month was created to establish strong and vibrant communities through the power of parks and recreation to recognize all the amazing full-time and part-time employees who help enhance the quality of life for the community. We are so happy to be able to provide the community with so many great classes, special events, and beautiful parks and open spaces to enjoy. It would not be possible without our awesome Parks and Recreation Team.
This month we invite you to take a walk through one of our open spaces, sign up for a new class, play tennis at one of our courts, or just admire the beauty and peacefulness of our parks; there's no wrong way to enjoy all Belmont Parks and Recreation has to offer!
To celebrate, this July we will be hosting three brand new (FREE!) special events to showcase the Parks and Recreation Department, as well as a new bingo activity. Get more information on all of these events below. We hope you will join us!
Belmont Parks and Recreation Bingo Sneak Peek
Celebrate PMLB Month with us by taking part in our Belmont Parks and Recreation Bingo! Get outside! Explore Belmont! Have fun!
The rules are simple:
- Get the bingo card from our website and use it on your phone or grab a paper copy from the Parks and Recreation Office (30 Twin Pines Lane)
- Take a picture (or video) of yourself doing the tasks or going to the places listed on the card
- Once you have crossed off as many activities as you desire, stop by the Parks and Recreation office and show us the pictures/videos for a prize! Our office is open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
You can go for a simple bingo (3 in a row, any direction), or you can black out the board (cross off all tasks). Either way you will win a prize! The first 3 people that complete this challenge will receive an extra surprise.
You have from 8:00am on Monday, July 1st - 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 31st to participate. This challenge is free and open to all ages!
The bingo card and a 'how-to' video will be posted on our website and social media accounts on July 1st. Get ready!

Meet the Staff of Belmont Parks and Recreation
We are so thankful for all of the hard work, passion, and dedication from all of our Parks and Recreation staff. We would not be able to have all these special events, classes, facilities, and beautiful parks and open spaces without them.
