City Council approved the long-awaited Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan
On Tuesday night, the City Council approved the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan (PROS). After a thorough and transparent process, heavily engaged with the public, PROS is set to enhance our community's outdoor areas for years to come. Looking forward, the plan will optimize and ensure the sustainability of our parks. This includes existing spaces like Twin Pines, College View, Belmont parks, and open-space gems like Waterdog Lake and San Juan Canyon. PROS will also focus on events, programming, bikeways, trails, and seamless integration with new housing and development. This is exciting news for our community and will improve the quality of life of Belmont residents! Stay tuned for further details and learn more about the plan below.
