Egg Adventure Hunt & New Adaptive EGGventure Hunt
Join us at our annual Egg Adventure Hunt on Saturday, March 30th in Twin Pines Park! The hunt begins at 10:00am sharp but be sure to arrive by 9:30am! No registration required. 13,000 eggs will be hidden throughout the park for ages 3 - 10. Don’t forget to bring your own basket and be sure to stick around after the hunt to enjoy some refreshments, take family photos with our bunnies, and visit with our summer camp contractors.
NEW THIS YEAR: Adaptive EGGventure Hunt. Join us as we host our first ever Adaptive Egg Hunt in the Twin Pines Park Meadow on Friday, March 29th! Hunt is open to individuals of all ages with disabilities. 2,000 eggs and 4 golden eggs will be hidden throughout the Meadow grass. Don't forget to bring your own basket and stick around after to snap some photos with our bunny. Hunt will begin at 4:30pm sharp! This event is free, but registration required.
Avoid Fields During Inclement Weather
As the spring sports season gets underway, please be mindful of weather conditions and the field closure policy. Athletic fields may be closed due to inclement weather or saturated conditions. Organizations must call the Field Status Hotline at (650) 592-7557 or check the City of Belmont website for updates. The hotline and website should be updated by 1:00pm on the weekday in question, except on weekends and holidays.
Closure notices also apply to our weekday morning off-leash hours at Barrett Field, which resumed on March 1st. Thanks to all for being mindful of the policy to ensure safe play and the preservation of the sports fields!

3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Get ready for a thrilling, high-energy 3-on-3 teen basketball tournament that's free and open to youth ages 11 - 18! It's a fantastic opportunity for participants to have a blast while showcasing their basketball talents in a spirited atmosphere. Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center on Thursday, March 14th at 11:30am! We’ll be serving traditional corned beef and cabbage for lunch and dessert will follow. This course teaches proven driving techniques to help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. When you complete this course, you could be eligible for a discount on your auto insurance. Belmont History Room
The Belmont History Room will be open Sunday, March 10th and 24th and Sunday, April 14th and 28th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Walk around Twin Pines Park and drop-in to learn more about the rich history of Belmont. The History Room is located in the back of the Manor House, closest to the Twin Pines Meadow. Senior Showcase Fair
In partnership with the San Mateo Daily Journal, the Senior Showcase Fair returns to the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center on Friday, March 22nd from 10:00am - 2:00pm, featuring a resource fair, health screenings, guest speakers, and live music. Please consider carpooling or taking public transportation as parking may be limited. Free!
Lobsterfest 2024
Join the Rotary Club of Belmont and Redwood Shores on Saturday, May 4th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm for their annual Lobsterfest Fundraiser. Enjoy a lobster dinner, bar, silent and live auctions, music, and more. All proceeds support the local community and international causes such as clean water projects and student scholarships.
