On December 15th at 11:15pm, Belmont Officers were called to the 1600 block of El Camino Real on a report of a hit and run collision. Witnesses called 9-1-1 and reported that a man had been struck by a vehicle traveling on northbound El Camino Real. Emergency personnel began applying life support efforts to the victim, a 64 year old male of Belmont, who was immediately transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
