Youth Advisory Committee High School Fair
Join our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) at their first ever High School Fair on Wednesday, October 19th at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center. Middle school students and their families will get the chance to meet representatives from local private and public high schools and learn about everything they have to offer. Learn more.

 Halloween Home Decorating Contest!
There's still time to register for Belmont's third annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest! Winners will receive a lawn sign displaying their achievement and a chance to be featured on social media. Sign up by October 16th. Learn more.

Belmont Talks: BRSSD History
Join us on Thursday, October 13th at 6:30 pm at the Belmont Library to learn about the history of the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, from the 1860's to present day. Open to all ages. If you prefer to attend virtually on Zoom, register here.

Movies In The Park Return!
Join us at Barrett Park on Friday, October 14th for our final movie of the year! We will have a spooky showing of the original Hocus Pocus. Movie will begin around sundown. We hope to see you there!

Trunk or Treat is Back!
Throw on a costume and head over to the Barrett Community Center basketball court to see some spooky decorated cars, listen to some music, and get loads of candy! Friday, October 28th, 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. This is a free event, open to all ages!

Drop-in Pickleball
Join us every Monday from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm for free, indoor, drop-in pickleball at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center. All ages and skill levels are welcome! Please call 650-595-7444 for more information.

Poetry Night
Join us every third Tuesday of the month for a virtual poetry night with Belmont's Poet Laureate, Monica Korde. Each month will have a different featured poet and an open mic portion following the readings. More information can be found here.

 The City of Belmont is hosting its first-ever City Hall Halloween!
City Staff and City Council will greet all trick or treaters in costume for this fun, fright-level-low, community event. Walk the hallways of our City Hall and enjoy the festive experience of a fun, safe, friendly Halloween.
All ages event, and dog-friendly, too. Come in costume, and yes, there will be candy. 😊

 5th Annual Belmont Water Dog Run
The race returns on Saturday, October 8th. From a 5k and 10k course, to a 1 mile course for dogs and young runners and walkers, there is something for everyone! Races begin and end at Twin Pines Park. Register now. The race supports local schools and youth organizations and provides a free pancake breakfast for all participants. Thanks to our sponsors IHOP, Chick-fil-A, Peet’s Coffee, Hobee’s, Lunardis, Mid-Peninsula Water, and our local Rotary.
