Next week will be the re-introduction of the weekly movies, as well as the Crafts Group and Sewing & Quilting Group. For more information on these programs, please call (650) 595-7444 or go to www.belmont.gov/adults
The Hideout
After a long break, the teens are back and did not miss a beat creating their culinary perfections, including strawberry cheesecake smoothies and chicken and beef street tacos. The group learned the basics of flavoring and cooking meat. Other fun included a two square tournament and free throw contest. Ending the week with the Barrett Olympics.
The hide provides a quiet place to do homework, and a safe place to gather with other local teens.
The Hideout is open Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 3 - 5 pm and 1 - 5 pm on Wednesdays. Closed on Mondays.
