The Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program offering up to $3000 to help you retrofit your home is now open through March 26.
Homeowners with an annual household income of $89,040 or less may be eligible for a Supplement Grant which may cover up to 100% of the cost of an EBB retrofit. Protect your home and yourself with a seismic retrofit.

The Friends of Albany Parks (FOAP) program encourages community members to get involved with the care, maintenance, and beautification of city spaces. Join us for this fun volunteer opportunity, weather permitting. Please call our Rain-out hotline, 1(510) 559-7219, for updates on FOAP cancellations due to rain.

Parents’ Night Out gives parents a chance to enjoy an evening alone and kids the opportunity to play with friends, enjoy activities, watch a movie, and eat yummy pizza and popcorn! Kids are encouraged to wear cozy PJs and bring a stuffie and a blanket. Parents drop off your kids knowing they’ll be in the best care with Friendship Club staff.

Join us during Spring Break for an action-packed Pokémon Camp where aspiring trainers can sharpen their skills and dive into the exciting world of Pokémon Cards! Campers will learn the basics for gameplay, deck building, and strategy, guided by our experienced Friendship Club staff. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, this camp promises camaraderie, creativity, and plenty of Pokémon-themed fun!

Are you a college student interested in learning about nature and helping others understand and appreciate the natural world? The City has an opportunity for you with our Habitat Restoration Internship program on Albany Hill.
Interns will assist with survey and identification projects, help with educational outreach and signage, support native plant restoration and vegetation management work, and learn about environmental issues. Ideal candidates have an interest in and curiosity about the natural world and are looking to get real-world experience for pursuing a career in any related fields.
Seed funding for the program is provided by a grant from the State Coastal Conservancy’s Wildfire Resilience Program.

The Alameda Countywide Clean Water Program is inviting grant applications for up to $6,000 per project to encourage grassroots community action that prevents stormwater pollution and enhances the health of local watersheds, creeks, and the San Francisco Bay. Projects must be implemented in Alameda County. The deadline for submissions is May 9, 2025, 5PM.
