Swing by a community Energizer Station to pick up a limited-edition bike bag, find snacks and goodies, and to take part in the good vibes. We'll have 5 stations in Alameda (below), plus there are many, many more throughout the Bay Area.

This Friday, don't miss artist, educator, and marine scientist Josie Iselin for an evening devoted to the wonder of bull kelp forests. Through images, stories, and conversation, Iselin brings art and science together to reveal the beauty, complexity, and urgency of these vital ocean forests along the North Pacific coast.
Presented by Oceanographic Magazine and Blancpain, and hosted by West End Arts District with partner Bay Photo Lab.

The Rotary Club of Alameda is teaming up with Redwood Materials for a lithium-ion battery recycling drive. Bring old rechargeable devices — phones, laptops, power tools, headphones, vaping devices, and more — no need to remove the battery. Just no car batteries. Look for the Rotary banner and reserved drop-off parking spaces in front of City Hall. Help “mine the junk drawers of America” and keep valuable battery materials out of landfills.
