Share Your Ideas for How Our Shoreline Can Adapt!

You're invited to participate in the City of Alameda’s Sea Level Rise Survey — an opportunity for residents, workers, and other community members to share their hopes, concerns, and ideas for the future of our coastal communities.

Your input will help shape how Alameda adapts to sea level rise and invests in nature-based and community-driven solutions that protect both people and the environment.

Take the Survey

⏰ It only takes a few minutes — and every response makes a difference.

We encourage you to share the survey widely within your organizations, networks, and communities. Multilingual versions are also available in Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Arabic to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.

ICYMI: Alameda Sea Level Rise Fair Recap

On September 27th, the Oakland Alameda Adaptation Committee hosted a Community Planning Fair at the REAP Climate Center focused on local sea level rise and flood resilience. The fair brought together residents, community-based organizations, agency staff, scientists, and elected leaders to learn, share input, and co-design near-term priorities for adaptation. More than 150 participants engaged with interactive stations, and hands-on mapping activities.
