Join Rhythmix and the City of Alameda for Rising Seas, a series of free family-friendly public art performances that will transform Alameda’s waterfront parks into a stage for global music, immersive dance, and thought-provoking theater.
Starting Saturday, May 31, 1-4pm at Seaplane Lagoon Promenade, Alameda:
- Enjoy the theatrics of the Climate Detective from the Future, directed by Jeff Raz, featuring Ed Holmes and Colin Epstein
- Experience Where do you draw the line?, an audience-immersive choreography by KT Nelson & dancers
- Learn an Earth Song with Kanyon CoyoteWoman
- Immerse yourself in the energy of Puerto Rican Bomba with Batey Tambó
Alongside these performances, artists and local climate organizations will offer fun hands-on activities for the community to participate in and learn about actions to help mitigate climate change.
