After three months of successful service, over 34,000 rides taken and 7400 bikes carried, the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle will be launching a new service schedule on November 6th, with 52 more runs each week and more frequent service. Read on for details!
We are thrilled to have our first opportunity to adjust our schedule, creating a more robust service which also responds to many of your requests! The new schedule will start on Wednesday, November 6th. Take a peek at it here! Highlights include:

52 additional trips per week (8 more trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays; 12 more trips Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays)
- Higher frequency service
- Later morning start times (15-40 minutes later)
- Extended evening service (30-60 minutes later)
- Two service schedules, instead of our current three: one for Weds/Thurs and one for Fri/Sat/Sun
- Continue operating Wednesdays to Sundays
Come out Saturday, November 9, to help us celebrate our first three months of successful service and our new, expanded service. We’ll have a brief event at the Alameda dock at 10:30am, and will be giving away our cute rubber duckies and custom Woodstock keychain tokens on rides while supplies last! More details to come!
