Sea level rise adaptation community workshops in August

The Oakland Alameda Adaptation Committee has two more community workshops this August! These events are a great opportunity for you to learn about and contribute to our Oakland and Alameda shoreline resilience efforts as we plan for sea level rise. Your participation is crucial in shaping a resilient future for our beloved shoreline. Together, we can make a difference!

Come join us to learn about current adaptation plans, share your thoughts and feedback, and engage with agency leaders and experts. Each informational workshop will include an overview of all the current adaptation projects with a deep dive into a particular shoreline area.

Upcoming workshop dates:

Drop in any time! Please learn more and RSVP here. Registration is encouraged but not required unless you need childcare or translation services. Refreshments will be served.

Help bring more public EV chargers to Alameda!

its' electric

We're bringing curbside EV charging to Alameda residents who don’t have the ability to charge at home.

it's electric has been selected by the City of Alameda to expand access to curbside EV charging. Transportation accounts for 70% of greenhouse gas emissions within the City;  EVs are a key part of decreasing transportation emissions and this public-private partnership will help the city demonstrate a successful, scalable model of deploying EV charging stations in the public right-of-way for all Alamedans who want to drive electric, but lack home charging capabilities (and all at no cost to the city!)

Drive an EV (or want to) !?

Sign up to help us site chargers on the block where you live.
