Save the Date: June 5 Fernside Blvd Public Workshop

The Fernside Blvd Traffic Calming & Bikeways Project is preparing for our second round of public engagement! You will have multiple opportunities to share your thoughts on design concept options for traffic calming, pedestrian improvements, and bikeways on Fernside Blvd.

Mark your calendars! Our main event will be the in-person workshop on June 5. Other options to provide input include a lunchtime virtual workshop on May 29, an online survey open May 29 - June 19, and discussions at the Transportation Commission (May 22) and the Commission on Persons with Disabilities (June 5). 

After evaluating public input on design concept options, the project team plans to seek approval of final design directions this fall. More about project phasing is at alamedaca.gov/fernside.
