If you are age 50+ and/or know of someone who is, then read on for exciting programs that Mastick Senior Center offers! Membership is FREE and REQUIRED to participate in Mastick programs. Taste of Salsa Boot Camp
Tuesday, December 27, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Location: Dining Room 2 FREE ~ Class #20933
Just the Basics: Ultra slow motion drills of basic salsa footwork patterns. Class is designed to help those who have never taken a salsa class and those interested in a review of basic footwork. The first hour, Joy Smith, Volunteer Instructor, will feature basic footwork ‘plus’. The second hour will focus on the crossbody lead. Note: there are no mirrors in the room. To register, click here.

Yoga for Bone Health Tuesdays, January 3 - February 21, 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Location: Social Hall Cost: $67 ~ Class #20826
Yoga to promote bone health, based on research by Dr. Loren Fishman, demonstrating that a targeted yoga practice can slow, stop, and even reverse the progress of osteopenia and osteoporosis, and prevent the development of these conditions in those who do not have them. Fitness with Kendra Tuesdays, January 10 - 31, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Location: Room A Cost: $39 ~ Class #20827
Full body workout that includes stretching, low impact cardio, strength and balance training with light weights, and floor/mat core work. All moves can be modified for all fitness levels, are completed at your own pace and are set to fun music. Mats and weights provided. To register, click here.
Annual Rose Pruning Saturday, January 21, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Location: Lincoln Park Rose Garden, 1450 High Street
East Bay Rose Society Members will provide a rose pruning demonstration including "Q & A" pertaining to rose care. Learn to prune like an expert by practicing your skills on the roses at Lincoln Park. Weather permitting. This is a free event and pre-registration is not necessary so come and join us! Be sure to bring your own clippers and gloves. Wear closed-toed shoes, socks and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Coffee Room is Open
Enjoy a cup of coffee from our indoor 'self serve' Coffee Station. We encourage you to bring your own cups/mugs to reduce waste.
Mastick Thrift Shop
The Mastick Thrift Shop is open to the public Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Donations are accepted on Thursdays and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or until FULL. Please bring donations on Thursdays and Saturdays ONLY.
Mastick Program Guidelines
We are excited to see you and want to ensure your visit to the Center is a success. In an effort to maintain the safety and well-being of members and staff, please adhere to the following when visiting:
- Face-coverings and physical distancing remain in place and are strongly recommended when inside the building;
- Stay home if showing signs of respiratory illness (cough, sore throat or shortness of breath) or experiencing signs of COVID-19;
- Enter through the breezeway as individual exterior classroom doors (parking lot/Bay Street) remain locked at this time. Enter classrooms via interior classroom doors (courtyard);
- Wall-mounted hand-sanitizing stations are available in each room;
- Be sure to dress in layers, bring a hat, sunscreen, and anything necessary to provide for your own comfort.
