This time of year is for reflection, connection, and giving. I am continually inspired by the generosity and kindness shown throughout our community, especially at our annual Toy & Food Drive, where we collected hundreds of donations to support Alameda County families. A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed!

This year, our District 1 community once again came together to show the true spirit of the holidays! Through the communal generosity of our residents, community organizations, unions, local businesses, and our law enforcement partners, our Holiday Toy & Food Drive collected hundreds of toys and essential food items for families across Alameda County.
With the support of some of our incredible District 1 charities, we were able to distribute these donations to families in need, bringing a little extra cheer and brighter holidays to many!
I want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed. Your kindness and dedication truly reflect the care we have for one another, and I look forward to continuing this momentum as we work to uplift and support District 1 in the year ahead.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a thriving year ahead!
The District 1 Team was thrilled to once again join the holiday parades in Pleasanton and Livermore! It’s always a joy to see our community’s creativity and festive spirit on full display.
A special thank you to our interns for supporting the team and handing out candy canes and hand warmers to keep paradegoers warm!
My wife Michele and I joined Rabbi Moshe Fuss, his wife Chaya and their children for the 13th annual Menorah Lighting in Fremont hosted by the Chabad of Fremont Jewish Center.
The community came out to celebrate, enjoyed cultural treats, spirited singing, and warm fellowship!
Earlier this month, Fremont Hospital celebrated the groundbreaking of its new ambulance entrance. This dedicated entrance will create a more private and efficient admission process, improving patient safety and care for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
We are proud to support Fremont Hospital’s continued investment in facilities that prioritize dignity, compassion, and quality care for our community.
