AIM Ideas Lab
I am proud to partner with the nonprofit AIM Youth Mental Health and provide the funding for their AIM Ideas Lab, a youth-led peer-to-peer mental health research program that centers the voices of young people in discovering emerging mental health issues and advocating for solutions to support their schools and communities.
Their AIM Ideas Lab Program is currently seeking sophomores and juniors from Dublin, Livermore, and Fremont high schools!
Working with peers in supportive cohorts and with trained adult mentors, high school students design and run peer-to-peer mental health surveys, analyze real data, develop insights and actionable solutions for their school and community, and present their findings to community leaders and policymakers.
AIM Ideas Lab is an 8-week virtual program that begins in late January 2026.
Students who participate earn 12+ community service hours, gain hands-on research experience, and build skills that support their own well-being.
Applications for Ideas Lab are now open. The deadline to apply is Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Students: Make a meaningful impact on your school, your community, and the future of youth mental health while being part of a growing movement of youth leaders. If it sounds like a good fit, we'd love to see your application!
Parents & Educators: Encourage a student to apply! Forward this email to any student you think would be a good fit!
