Dear District 1,
As the fall season settles and we begin to see cooler days (finally!), we approach a period of gratitude and connection. With holidays fast approaching, I encourage you to stay engaged with your community. Attend that event that's been on your bucket list, plan a potluck, give back to those who are in need, and take a moment to connect with your neighbors and loved ones.
Also make sure to explore this week's newsletter, where you'll find many updates for District 1 and Alameda County.
As always, if there is anything that my office can do to assist you regarding County-specific matters, please feel free to reach out at bosdist1@acgov.org.
Sincerely,

David G. Haubert Alameda County Supervisor District 1

Sunol Senior Wellness Resource Fair
My office hosted the 1st Sunol Senior Wellness Resource Fair on October 9th, and it was a huge success. In partnership with CityServe of the Tri-Valley, over 20 government & community-based organizations participated by sharing resources, information, and direct services with Seniors & their family members & caregivers who live in Sunol & the surrounding communities. Over 50 residents attended, and many of them received direct care at the pop-up clinic provided by Alameda County Public Health in partnership with Haller’s Pharmacy. A huge thank you to the County Agencies & partners present, including our Social Services Agency’s Department of Adult & Aging Services & FALCK Emergency Medical Services, as well as all the organizations that did community outreach. Together, we can all support seniors in living full & healthy lives by ensuring they receive accessible quality physical, mental, & emotional/social care.
