Dear District 1,
As we settle into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the path ahead and share my excitement for what we can achieve together. Earlier this month, I was honored to be elected President of the Board. This is a responsibility I embrace with deep gratitude and a commitment to serving the County with purpose and integrity.
I invite you all to look into this newsletter and learn more about programs, opportunities, and events. As always, if there is anything that my office can do to assist you regarding County-specific matters, please feel free to reach out at bosdist1@acgov.org.
Sincerely,

David G. Haubert Alameda County Supervisor District 1

Supporting Foster Families in Alameda County – Join us to Learn More on February 25th
Alameda County Supervisors David Haubert, District 1, and Elisa Marquez, District 2, have partnered with County Social Services, non-profits, and educational institutions to elevate our collaborative efforts to support Foster Children, their Resource Parents, and transitional aged Foster Youth. In addition to facilitating deeper connections, communication, and coordination within the foster care system, we are reaching out to members of our community like you to see if you want to participate in the efforts to increase support, mentorship, advocacy, and resources for D1 and D2 residents in the foster care system.
We would greatly appreciate you taking a brief survey to let us know what you are interested in doing to support a foster child or a foster family. Thank you for taking the survey found here. Then join us on February 25th at 5pm in Dublin to learn more and hear about the many opportunities you have to make a difference in the lives of foster children/families.
