Tri-Valley Career Center Job Fair
The Tri-Valley Career Center, 5860 Owens Drive, 3rd floor, Pleasanton, is the Tri-Valley’s most valuable resource for job seekers and employers seeking employees! The Career Center has free use of computers, wi-fi and quiet workspaces available for job searching related work. Services include over 20 monthly workshops including “Ace the Interview” and “Career Pivoting”. In-person resume review appointments are available each Wednesday 9 AM-4 PM. Microsoft Office Certification and job training in fields like Certified Nursing Assistant and Forklift Certification are offered, with some job training scholarships possible. Visit the online Job Board at jobs.trivalleycareercenter.org to view current local job openings. The Career Center is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 AM- 5 PM and Tuesday 10:30 AM – 5 PM. Sip with Us Livermore
Sip With Us Livermore is ending soon. Come out and celebrate California Wine Month, support Livermore Wine Country, and enjoy some great food and wine!
I have partnered with Livermore Downtown Inc. and the Livermore Valley Wine Growers Association to bring you all this opportunity. If you bring a bottle of wine produced in Livermore to one of the participating locations, your 1st corkage fee will be waived and paid for by me. 2024 Veteran Stand Down And Unhoused Resources Event
The Veteran Stand Down event is an opportunity for Veterans and community members in need to receive free resources from Alameda County. This event will include numerous services such as free Flu and COVID shots, haircuts for Veterans, mental health resources, and more. If you would like to receive a flu shot and/or COVID vaccine, please register using the QR code in the flyer.

Foster Family Support Town Hall
Resource Parents are in need of your support. I am proud to partner with District 2 Supervisor Elisa Marquez to wrap around these families with more support, resources, and champions. We are reaching out to ask you for your partnership in supporting Foster Families in our community by providing support services.
Are you interested in learning more about supporting a Foster Child and/or their Resource Parent/s in our districts? We are hosting a Foster Family Support Network Town Hall on October 30th in Union City and hope you can join to learn more. During the town hall, we will have representatives from Alameda County Child & Family Services and local non-profits that serve Foster Youth/Families to answer any questions you have. Mines Road Closure
"UNINCORPORATED ALAMEDA COUNTY - Please be advised that Mines Road will be closed to traffic at Mile Marker 6.50, starting Monday, September 30, 2024 through Saturday, October 19, 2024. This full closure will be in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during this period.
The full closure is essential to repair severe roadway damage caused by landslides and to ensure the road's safety and durability. We urge travelers to plan in advance and use alternate routes.
Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to restore and enhance Mines Road for the long-term benefit of all users."
