 Dear District 1,
Greetings and Happy Holidays! As the concluding chapter of this remarkable year approaches, I hope my message finds you in good health and high spirits. Around these eventful and festive weeks, we relish the comforting company of our loved ones, with abounding joy surrounding our communities and homes. More importantly, we look back on our experiences with clarity, reflecting on our accomplishments and the valuable lessons we learned along the way. In our District, we worked together on numerous projects, events, and initiatives, positively impacting our region while expanding our collaborative potential. With no goal unachievable, and no obstacle insurmountable, let us enter the new year with the same enthusiasm and desire for growth.

Get Involved!
Participate in the MHSA Survey
 You have the opportunity to participate in the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Planning Process and help shape mental health services in Alameda County. The public is invited to give feedback and suggestions on how the MHSA funding should be spent. This is an opportunity for you, your family, and peers to inform what programs and services may become available in Alameda County. Please send in your response and share this with other community members. The survey is available in English, Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). We will be accepting surveys until December 31, 2023 and your responses are anonymous.
Discussion on Affordable Housing
 Join our upcoming community meeting that I'll be hosting with District 2 Supervisor Elisa Marquez! This gathering will focus on a matter of utmost importance—affordable housing. Join us for an engaging discussion where you can contribute your insights and ideas. Together, let's work towards creating more accessible and inclusive living spaces for everyone in our District. Your involvement is vital, and I encourage you to participate and share your perspectives.
