 In response to COVID-19, Alameda County has launched a new program, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Supervisorial District Community Needs Cash Aid Grants program. Recognizing the important role historical preservation plays in our community, I recently donated $2,000 to the Mission Peak Heritage Foundation. Founded in 1962 and based in Fremont, the Foundation's goal is to preserve historical sites and local history.

Livermore Rodeo Parade
 Bring your family and attend the annual Livermore Rodeo Parade in Downtown Livermore on Saturday, June 11! Hosted by the Livermore Rotary Club, the Parade will feature local organizations, schools, businesses, residents, and even our own District 1 Office. Look for us in a vintage Alameda County Fire engine!

Fremont
The Aqua Adventure Waterpark will be open for the 2022 season daily from June 7 through August 14 and weekends until Labor Day.
Fremont Budget Hearings will begin on June 7th, with a second hearing and adoption taking place on June 14 (proposed budget). Click here to follow and participate in the hearings.

Livermore
Altamont Creek Elementary School has received the 2022 Leadership in Sustainability at School Award from StopWaste.
Open Heart Kitchen secured a 19,000 square foot warehouse in Livermore that will allow safe storage, handling and electronic tracking of food and supplies throughout the Tri-Valley.

Dublin
The City of Dublin's Military Banner Program has begun displaying banners of twelve veterans and active duty servicemen and servicewomen along Dougherty Road.
The Wave Waterpark will reopen for daily use from June 4th until school resumes in August.
The City of Dubin recently launched a second round of the COVID-19 Residential Rent Assistance Program. Eligible households could qualify for up to $6,000 or six-months' rent.
