Sincerely, ![]() Wilma Chan ![]() Finding a Flu VaccineThe 2021-22 flu vaccines are widely available in the community and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend receiving your flu vaccine by the end of October. Check with your healthcare provider or local pharmacy to see which vaccines they have available. You can also search by ZIP code for your preferred vaccine type (traditional, nasal spray, high-dose vaccine, or egg-free) using the Vaccines.gov interactive map. The CDC has also stated that you may receive your COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine at the same time. Check with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about receiving a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu vaccine at the same time. The 2021 fair runs at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds from Friday, October 22, 2021 to Sunday, October 31, 2021. We are offering 2-for-1 admission tickets for all District 3 residents. Supplies are limited. Limit 2 coupons per household. Redistricting determines which neighborhoods and communities are grouped together into a supervisorial district for purposes of electing a Board of Supervisor member. The Board of Supervisors is seeking public input on how the Alameda County community wants the Supervisorial districts to be drawn.
