Updates from the Alameda County Public Health Department
Vaccines remain the best tool in stopping the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. While the Delta variant has infected a small percentage of fully vaccinated individuals, the vaccines have provided strong protection against severe illness, hospitalization, and death due to COVID-19.
COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and FREE for everyone 12 and older. Visit the Alameda County Public Health Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine resources page to learn where you can find a vaccination site near you or call 510-208-4VAX (510-208-4829). If you missed your second dose, you should still complete your vaccination series.
