Alameda County Suspends Administration of the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

Per state and federal recommendations, Alameda County will suspend administration of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine until state and federal authorities determine it is safe to begin administering the vaccine again. Read more here.

Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Vaccination Site Extended Until
May 9th

The Oakland Coliseum Mega-Vaccination site will remain open until May 9, 2021. Vaccine appointments are available to adults (18+) who live or work in Alameda County or Contra Costa County only and will continue to be made through visiting the state’s MyTurn.ca.gov website or by calling 833-422-4255.

Scam Alert: Ignore Fraudulent COVID-19 Vaccine Survey

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) reminds the public to stay safe and be on the lookout for a post-vaccine survey scam.

None of the vaccine manufacturers are conducting post-vaccine surveys, and no legitimate survey asks for your credit card or bank account number to pay for a “free” reward.

For more information on the post-vaccine scam, please visit the FTC's website.
