Mandatory Bidder's Conference: Program Administrator for the Acquisition & Opportunity Fund (AOF)

On Friday, July 27th, Alameda County Housing and Community Development Department released a RFQ to seek a county-wide Program Administrator and held a Bidder's Conference for the Acquisition & Opportunity Fund(AOF). This is a revolving loan fund to assist developers of affordable housing and will be part of the A1 Housing Bond Implementation. A second opportunity to receive the RFQ is being offered. To receive the RFQ and apply, you must have attended one of two meetings:

Who should attend: Organizations and firms qualified to act as the Program Administrator, and interested in submitting a response to the Request For Qualifications (RFQ) must attend the mandatory bidder's conference.  Interested parties must meet specified eligibility requirements, including having experience making loans and evaluating projects; and have the capacity to implement Alameda County’s Measure A1 Acquisition and Opportunity Fund.  The selected entity will manage the fund and make loans to affordable housing developers for acquisition of real property to be developed. 

Note: Organizations and firms who attended the July 27th Bidder's Conference are not required to attend. 

RFQ to be available on August 10, at the meeting. 

Submission deadline extended: October 1, 2018.
