You're invited to a Town Hall Meeting Friday, September, 22 from 6-9 p.m. at Allen Temple Church, 8501 International Boulevard in Oakland. Get the latest information about efforts by the County of Alameda and the City of Oakland to provide homeless services. I will be on a panel with local officials to discuss this issue and more.
Come out and help clean up your neighborhood! The 2017 Clean Up event will be held at Meek Estate Park, 240 Hampton Road in Cherryland. Bring mattresses, furniture, & e-waste! No curbside pickup. Cleanup participants get free registration for the October 14th 2017 Ashland Cherryland FamFest 5k Fun Run. For info about the 2017 FamFest at www.ACFamFest.org

Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November, 5 from 1-3 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Pleasanton. The event, which is traditionally the largest Veterans Day Parade in Northern California. I will be a parade participant along with marching units including Color Guards from all branches of the service as well as local veteran organizations. Click here for more info.
Castro Valley Light Parade November, 11 from 5:30- 9 p.m. on Castro Valley Blvd & Santa Maria Ave Click here for more info. Pleasanton's Annual Hometown Holiday Parade December, 2 on Main St. The events will feature floats from local service organizations and churches, Schools, antique vehicles, cultural dancers, an appearance by Santa Claus and a tree lighting ceremony. Be sure to come out and to see me and my staff participate in the parade!
