Acts Cyrene Apartments, Oakland, CA - AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITY

The Oakland Housing Authority is pleased to announce its latest affordable housing community: Acts Cyrene Apartments, 9400 International Blvd., Oakland, CA 94603.

 

Beginning Friday, July 21, 2017, at 9 a.m., the application acceptance period opens and will close on Saturday, August 11, 2017.

 

Acts Cyrene Apartments will feature 59 brand new one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes. Rents will vary by Low Income Housing Tax Credit income levels. Rents for Section 8 Project Based units will be about 30% of adjusted household income.

 

The open application period will run from Friday, July 21, to August 11. You may submit an application electronically by visiting this website: www.liveatactscyrene.com.

 

Printed applications may be obtained from the website or leasing office and must be mailed and postmarked no later than August 11, 2017.

Please consider submit your fully completed rental application in person Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 885 - 69^th Avenue, Ste. 103, Oakland, CA 94621.

 

Applications will be ranked by lottery; this is not a first come, first served process.

 

Applicants to Acts Cyrene Apartments that are living in Oakland, working in Oakland, a member of the military or former member of the military, or being displaced from their housing in Oakland will receive a priority preference. Additionally, there are 14 units that have a preference for those who are currently homeless.

 

There will be an applicant workshop on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel at 8400 Edes Avenue, Oakland, CA 94621. For more detailed information, please note the attachment and the information on the website beginning Friday, July 21, 2017, at 9 a.m.

 

Lastly, these brand new units will be available for occupancy in September 2017.
