The Data Center Saga Continues...In Hollywood
Actual movie poster of the upcoming blockbuster.
The datacenter battle rages on, except this time Hollywood has taken notice. A motion picture is in the works, apparently, and some familiar names are attached. Most notable is Rami Malek. Rami will be playing environmental activist and local council member, Kevin Dahl. The studio wants a sexier, slicker version of the events that transpired and wants to keep it within budget.
Recently, there was mention of Danny Trejo sightings in Tucson. The sightings are true. He was in town to film Data Warz, with a "z" because the studio requested it. It makes the title more awesome and gives the name some much-needed "riz."
The almost Oscar-nominated Trejo will be playing the role of the older Mexican-American Communications Manager in Ward 3, Arnie Bermudez.
Other cast members include Chris Hemsworth who is going to play Ward 3 Council aide Jonathan Courtney, while Sydney Sweeney will play Ward 3 Chief of Staff Katie Bolger. The sassy and highly energetic office administrator, Shannon Jenkins, will be played by Natalie Portman, while Council Aide Naomi Lee is being portrayed by the very talented Anne Hathaway.
Recent Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan will reportedly portray Community Liaison Mike Edmonds in a supporting role.
The film will be directed by Michael Bay and will have a hard R rating or maybe even an NC-17 due to some very harsh language used in a scene where the City Council talks to the datacenter people. As with any Michael Bay movie, there will be plenty of explosions, dangerous stunts, and maybe even an asteroid.
The movie's big budget will be funded by Amazon Studios. Check out the trailer here.
