|
On March 28, 2026, at around 9:24 p.m., officers from Operations Division South responded to a call for service in the 5700 block of South Park Avenue. Callers reported two shooting victims at the location. Officers arrived and discovered a 39-year-old male with apparent gunshot trauma in the store and a female with apparent gunshot trauma located inside a vehicle. The Tucson Fire Department responded and evaluated the victims. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts, the female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was identified as 48-year-old Annemarie Landavazo. Next of kin has been notified. Initial information suggests that the shooting occurred elsewhere and the victims arrived at the Park Avenue location after the shooting occurred. The investigation is ongoing.
The Tucson Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information that could aid in this investigation. Anyone with information about this incident should call 911 or 88-CRIME to remain anonymous.
