On November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers from Operations Division South and personnel from the Tucson Fire Department (TFD) responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Calle Rayo De Sol regarding reports of a shooting. Officers and TFD personnel located two victims with apparent gunshot trauma. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as 19-year-old Eduardo Toyos. The other victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries. He has been identified as 18-year-old Abraham Javier Vindiola. Next of kin have been notified. A third victim with apparent gunshot trauma later arrived at a hospital, where they are receiving medical care. Homicide detectives and Crime Scene Unit personnel responded to continue the investigation.
Officers and detectives determined that a large gathering had occurred at the residence. During the gathering, an altercation took place, and shots were fired, resulting in the victims being struck. This investigation is in its early stages, and no suspects have been identified at this time. It is believed that additional witnesses left the scene prior to police arrival. The Tucson Police Department urges anyone with information related to this investigation to contact TPD or 88-CRIME, where you can remain anonymous.
